Pop In a Book

Join us in the library after school for a movie. Over the next few weeks, we will be watching books turned into movies. Movie time starts right at 3:15 and ends at 4:30. If you want to join us, see Ms. Friesen and sign up today. Space is limited! Our first movie will be "Journey to the Centre of the Earth", starring Brendan Fraser, on Wednesday, March 11th.

This movie is based on the Science Fiction/Fantasy classic book written by Jules Verne in 1864. The book and movie involve volcanic tubes, prehistoric creatures, natural hazards, giant mushrooms and geological time. Both movie and book are action packed and sure to keep the adventure seeker on the edge of their seat. Check out the video clip below for a sneak peak.
