Do you like to share scary stories with your friends? Scary stories are great at any time of the year, not just around Halloween. Telling a scary story is a skill that requires the teller to captivate his/her audience. Here is a short video that gives you a few tips on how to tell a scary story.

Scary Stories in the Library

Do you like stories that make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, your spine tingle and make you gasp in horror? If you do, then join us for Scary Stories in the Library on Wednesday, October 28th! Valley Park students and teachers will be sharing some of their favourite ghost and horror stories that are sure to make you jump and scream. This event will start at 3:20 until 4:30! We will be stopping throughtout for those students who are unable to stay for the whole event. Join us if you dare!

Good news everyone! The library will be re-opening this Thursday! Check out the library schedule by the library door for Thursday and Friday hours!

Also a reminder that Bookmark Contest forms are due to Ms. Friesen by Friday, October 9th. You could be this year's bookmark winner and receive a prize. Your bookmark will become the 2009/2010 Valley Park bookmark. Each

student in the school will get one! Good Luck!
